We present to you a package for cocoa powder. We have an unconditional leader on the world market for this product and our client wanted to make a visually similar package. Since the product is aimed mainly at children, it has to be full of positive emotions and energy, which would cause the parents to trust and buy the product. Since the trademark of the client visually looked more like a pictogram than a brand, we decided to transform the word “Cocoa” into a trademark. This is a very common approach, which is used when there is not a clear brand or any other marketing reason not to focus on the brand.
On the other side we decided to create a character, which is easy to remember and would be associated with the color of cocoa. This is how came to be a story about motherly love and care in the face of a mischievous monkey together with its baby, collecting cocoa beans and making wonderful cocoa!
