THE HISTORY
Boiled sausages can be bought everywhere - both in a small shop in a mountain village and in supermarket chains in big cities. This product is present in almost every refrigerator and is eaten on all occasions - a sandwich on the go, holiday meals, in the hotel industry, in the restaurant industry, in the child's school lunch box. Boiled sausages are a very popular and well-known product. This made our task quite complicated.
THE TASK
ELANA is a brand owned by Makro Kor Company. The brand is positioned in the lower price range. The overall corporate style of the brand is the work of Modern World Studio. The specific assignment was to redesign and create packaging for a line of products. The main goal set by the client was to present these cooked sausages as an affordable product.
The project started with marketing research. As a result, we developed a logo and design for Elana's various product lines.
THE SOLUTION
At the heart of the packaging design concept is the idea that a variety of dishes can be made with these sausages - from breakfast sandwiches at home to festive dishes with beautifully decorated bites. The typical packaging of such a product contains an image of the sliced sausage.
Our team wanted to present something different - with our design we aimed to show not just a sausage, but a dish that everyone could prepare themselves. We organized a photo shoot. On it, a master chef prepared different types of sandwiches. After a long selection and arguments, we bet on those with simply sliced sausage and a rich arrangement. We've beefed up the illustrations with a full retouch. The effect we achieved is images of sandwiches that look affordable and easy to prepare. But at the same time they are beautiful, aesthetic and very tasty.
