The Task
This project for the company Molochny Dela comprised creating a packaging design for their Napoleon cake Slaena. The homemade dessert is made of layers of light vanilla cream and fragrant batter.
Our client wanted us to design a character, an angel, and to retouch a photo of the dessert with some picked up in a spoon. They wanted our character to look good-natured, as this would show how light the dessert was, and this is what we strived to achieve - a delicate ethereal image.
Our client wanted us to use this particular background and Slaena trademark - we were only responsible for arranging them so that the composition would work well as a whole.
