Bebelan Child's milk

One of our favorite clients is the Bulgarian company Bebelan. They have been distributing baby food and products successfully for years. Our task was to create packaging designs for their product line comprising four kinds of baby formula with the BEBELAN trademark.
Our client had a very clear idea of their marketing strategy and the product positioning, as well as what exactly they wanted to see on the packaging.
We had to add two other design features to accompany the BEBELAN logo we had already created: the first was the Swiss flag, which showed the origin of the product, and the second - the word lacta, as the company also sells water and pureé, so the logo had to make the content clear.
Our client insisted on including the company mascot - an elephant - in the logo. We decided it would be best to draw it in three different poses, each characteristic of the age for which the formula was meant. We weren't allowed to use illustrations or photos of babies.
The results were a lying baby elephant, a sitting one, and one already standing on its back legs and playing with toys. For those babies with allergies, we created a happy lying baby elephant, pleased after the harmless meal. This product line owes its success not only because of our packaging designs, but also to the fine quality Swiss milk that's inside.
