The Task
The company “Kolvy” is our constant customer, for whom we’ve realized tens of successful projects, and are one of the undeniable leaders on the Russian market for spices with the trademarks “Mageta” and “Indana”. We are proud that this company trusted us with the creation of their main series of spices with the trademark “Mageta”. The series contains over 30 different kinds of spices. This project is one of the most successful, both regarding the design and the sales.
The spices “Mageta” is a line of soft packages with no window, so that the spice itself is not visible by the buyer. In such cases it’s very important for the content to be represented on the face through the design. It’s a very difficult task to create a harmonious composition with a lot of different small elements and also keep the details and elements contrasting, which involves several designers, a food stylist and a photographer due to its technical nature.
In such a task, the main focus should be 100% on the image. Our job has the following order: Firstly, we create the composition of the project. Afterwards, if necessary, we make a photo session, for which we pick out the best products and we make photos of them as a group, as well as separately. Further on, we combine them as a composition in the software and we finish off with detailed retouching of every separate element. All this is done because the purpose is to create a hyper-realistic product which looks appetizing and every element looks natural in their spot. This way we achieve a harmonized design.
From technical point of view this project was very difficult and we are happy that the end result excellently sells the product.
