The TASK
Redesign of the Old Time brand and development of new flavors
Izida Ice Cream Factory – a manufacturer that prides itself on a long history of ice cream production since 1991. The factory steadily occupies a significant market share, which is constantly growing. Its ice cream is distinguished by the natural taste of each of the ingredients. It is one of the few remaining Bulgarian ice cream manufacturers. "Izida" offers ice cream under several popular brands in Bulgaria – Bombastic, Old Time, Bandi, and others.
Task
Our clients tasked us with redesigning the logo of the Old Time trademark and creating a conceptual design for two new ice cream flavors – Pistachio and Vanilla Latte.
Execution
The first stage was the redesign of the "Izida" logo. We made a very light redesign, modernizing the logo – as the brand is very recognizable in Bulgaria and a more radical redesign could only harm the brand. The next stage was the redesign of the Old Time logo, to which we added modernity in the font and a more rounded, "milky" shape. After that, we cleaned it from unnecessary details, thus improving readability. The design of the two types of ice cream is executed in a modern product-appetizing style. The ice cream on the packaging is not just cut, but beautifully bitten, with a well-retouched inner texture. For the Pistachio flavor – we used a "pistachio-green" background, and for vanilla latte – a coffee brown.
Continuing the project, we also made Vanilla Latte ice cream in a box.
Finally, the animated video made by our team really helped to solidify the brand's idea. The video shows a lady on the beach enjoying the bright blue sky and her favorite Izida ice cream.
The ice cream has been well received by the audience and pleases customers with its pleasant taste and design.
