The TASK
The packaging design project for HERON products is an example of an elegant and functional approach to visually presenting premium food products. Created with attention to detail by designers Lily and Victor from Modern World Studio, the packaging stands out with its stylish minimalist aesthetic, emphasizing the high quality of the product.
The primary focus of the design is the use of a delicate color palette and clean graphic elements, which highlight the luxurious character of the HERON brand. Dark and light tones create a balance between tradition and modernity, adding visual depth and elegance. The product images are carefully selected and edited to create a realistic and appetizing appearance.
Lily and Victor integrate unique textures and fine typography into the layout, giving each package its individuality, while the HERON logo remains a central element, ensuring brand recognition. The sleek metallic finish on some packages accentuates the premium positioning of the products.
The design not only attracts visually but also communicates the key qualities of the products, conveying a message of sophistication and attention to detail – an approach typical of the work of Modern World Studio.
Our clients from Heron export their premium products to Belgium, France, and Spain. They have entrusted us with the mission to create a new brand identity for them that stands out in the European markets.
Execution:
The process of building a brand identity is filled with challenges and takes time. We started with a detailed analysis of competing brands, conducted a brainstorming session where we outlined several strategies to elevate the brand to a new level. We divided the work on the project into separate phases, initially focusing on the redesign of the logo and corporate style. In parallel, we created concepts for the different product series. At this stage, we faced the challenges of packaging design, which required authentic gourmet photographs, created with the assistance of a professional chef. After a successful photo session, our designers made a precise retouch of the images. In the final stage, a catalog of the entire product range was developed.
