The TASK
For this project we were tasked with creating a packaging design for the popular Emro line of ice creams for 3 flavors. The approach to this design was highly innovative, choosing to directly utilize the beauty of national ornaments which could be found throughout Uzbekistan. With the design itself being split into 3 separate zones, the top of the package consisting of vibrant ornament art with eye catching colors tailored to each individual flavor, the middle featuring the logo and the bottom section illustrating the content of each individual type of flavor in the Emro line created using stylized art, such as caramel, peach and pomegranate. Additionally, the ice cream which stands at the front of the design was retouched to further enhance the bite effect and ultimately reinforce the irresistible flavor of the product itself. Overall, the combined variety of differing art styles which were used led to the design being highly captivating and memorable, making the brand truly stand out on the stand.
