The Almer company is very successful in the packaging industry. In addition to this, they distribute their own products under the brand name Mirolo.
One of their product lines includes a series of instant soups in cups. Our clients issued us the task of creating a trademark and packaging designs for all five tastes in the line.
The trademark was designed in a modern way - it showed a smile to greet those busy people who are constantly searching for the comfort of home and a homemade meal, but never have the time or opportunity to prepare it.
This was a typical task for a packaging design. The most challenging aspect was creating a beautiful and attractive depiction of the prepared soup, as the cups initially contain only a powder. The most important part of the task was making the nature of the product and the specific taste clear from the illustration.
To better differentiate the tastes, we decided to color-code the upper part of the cup and outline of the name. We put a lot of effort in showing how diverse the contents of each soup were, so that when lined up on a shelf, one could clearly distinguish between all of the tastes. We added steam in the illustrations, which enhanced the image of a homemade dish.
