The Story
Short-lived cooked sausages have been known in Bulgaria since the second half of the 20th century. We call them the "brown salamis" because they are in an artificial casing with brown paint applied to it and the name of the product printed in black.
Even today, these sausages have a certain target market, and for this reason, each manufacturer adds the relevant product range to it’s lists.
The task of redesigning a series of three types of salami was quite complex. A creative approach to a traditional product with a well-known, conservative look was required. The goal of the project was to create packaging that would stand out, but also preserve the recognizability of this type of item.

The Task
Our designers bet on interesting illustrations. They skilfully combined black and white and achieved depth to the overall look. After much deliberation and debate, they replaced the black logo that sinks into the background with a white one. In this way, the logo strongly stands out. Another graphic element of the packaging is also in white. Along with the logo, it is repeated in a way that allows the brand to remain even after the salami is cut.
If you look at the "before and after" packaging, you'll see that this is a pretty well-refined and creative redesign.
