We realised the redesign of the yoghurt package “Dunyasha” for the American company “EUROPEAN IMPORTING COMPANY”. This is a company, which delivers European products in the USA and is very popular among both the Russian speaking population and the local American population of Sacramento.

The redesign was necessary because the quality of the product greatly exceeded its design, while the packages of the competition were a lot more interesting and with a more modern design. As with most redesign projects, we needed to keep the recognition of the product as much as possible, so we didn’t have the chance to change the package too drastically.

This is why we kept the familiar design with the girl “Dunyasha”. We changed the image so that it becomes friendlier, we softened the facial features so that they look kinder and as a whole made the character more memorable. We modernised the clothes, shoes, we chose brighter and prettier colors, while at the same time preserving the main elements of the image.

We modernised the font by writing out the name in a slightly rustic style, but in a way that it matches the project. Now we have a smiling Dunyasha looking at us from the shelves, who would easily start from the yoghurt consumers.
