„The Mikoyan Meat Processing plant” is a leading Russian company, which produces meat products and delicacies. We are proud to have been given the responsibility to design a series of labels for their new delicacy salami. Our task was to design a series of themed labels. Each product had its own name and theme, its recipe is traditional for the region it originated from and is easily recognized by the name. The series consisted of the following names: Vienna, Minsk, Sochi Salami – names of cities, while the other three were – Special, Hunter’s and Homemade – these are salami, that were made using a traditional recipe. All these different salami had to be combined in one concept and every one of them had to have a story, representing the name.
We chose vector graphic as our style for the illustrations, since this technique allows the product to be placed in a higher price range. Since the trade mark is well known on the Russian market, we made the brand big enough for it to be quickly and successfully established.
