Photography and visual preparation for a product catalog

Modern World Studio Ltd. carried out complete photography and visual preparation for the product catalog of Heron Ltd. – a manufacturer and exporter of high-quality duck products intended for international markets. The main goal of the project was to create a visually precise and commercially effective catalog that would showcase the company’s diverse product range through professional photography, refined composition, and clean aesthetics.
1. Product Photography
All primary packaging and SKU variations of the duck products—ready for commercial distribution and export—were photographed;
The images were captured in a professional studio environment with controlled lighting and compositional symmetry to emphasize the visual clarity and premium character of the products;
Each shot was composed to be suitable for use across multiple formats—catalog, labels, web, and advertising materials.
2. Culinary and Atmospheric Photography
To add an emotional and appetizing context, an additional culinary photo session was conducted at the studio in collaboration with a professional chef;
A variety of dishes and presentations featuring duck meat, pâté, and delicacies were prepared and photographed, demonstrating the application of the products in real culinary settings;
Natural and supplemental lighting, carefully selected props, and balanced compositions were used to convey a sense of high culinary culture and export-level quality.
3. Post-Production and Retouching
All images underwent professional editing and retouching, including reflection cleanup, tonal balancing, color correction, and fine contrast adjustments to achieve a natural yet refined visual impact;
Product packages were meticulously isolated and processed to preserve print quality and be fully prepared for prepress;
Culinary shots received additional color grading and depth to enhance warmth and appetizing appeal.
4. Integration into Product Catalog
The processed images were incorporated into the official Heron product catalog, designed with an emphasis on clean layout, readability, and a refined visual balance between product and aesthetics;
The catalog was developed as a versatile export presentation tool, combining photography, product specifications, and consistent styling suitable for international business partners.
The combination of detailed studio photography and culinary compositions—created in collaboration with a professional chef—gives the catalog a natural, appetizing, and premium character.
The project delivered a complete visual content package that reinforces Heron’s brand identity and supports the positioning of Bulgarian production on the high-end international market.
